SICILIAN LEMONS
• The Mediterranean climate coupled with volcanic soil gives Sicilian lemons a unique sweetness which enables us to achieve a delicious taste with a low level of sugar.
• The climate of Sicily is perfect for lemons because they love the sunny warm days of the Mediterranean coupled with the cooler nights. When this is matched with the rich volcanic soil around
Mount Etna you get the perfect mix which leads to the tart but sweet taste Sicilian lemons are famous for.
• The tasty zest of squeezed lemons brings a hint of acidity which is delicately balanced with a touch of sweetness.
• Lightly sparkling with crisp, clean bubbles our presse is refreshing on the palate.
• Go Lightly is best served cold without ice.

RAW CANE SUGAR FROM MAURITIUS
• Our Mauritian golden caster sugar is a natural, unrefined sugar made from sugar cane. It has a warm, golden colour and sweet, caramelised taste.
• What is the difference between refined and unrefined sugar?
•
Unrefined sugars lock in rather than refine out the natural molasses of the sugar cane. It is this difference which gives our sugar it’s unique richness, depth of flavour
and natural colour that refined sugars, which are simply coated in molasses, do not possess. Our unrefined sugar goes through the minimal amount of processing, within
its country of origin, in order to maintain its superior quality.
• Unrefined sugar is entirely produced where the sugar cane is grown. This means it has had the value added where it matters the most- in the country of origin – not in a
refinery elsewhere. Because of this, the producers are able to command a very significant premium for these finished products benefiting the local industry and the
whole community.
